On the date of 25^th August 2021, In collaboration with the health department of Bihar, APAL’s state committee distributed MCR Footwear to 42 people affected by leprosy who are struggling with chronicle ulcers on feet in Muzaffarpur Leprosy Colony, Bihar on the presence of DLO(District Leprosy Officer)

On behalf of people affected by leprosy, APAL convey gratitude to the DLO sir and his team for the valuable support and services and special thanks to Mr. Someswar Dubey President of the state committee (SAMUTHAN) for his active contribution to the distribution and in the leprosy fields

On the date of 24^th August 2021, APAL conducted successfully the interaction online meeting SHF with the APAL’s state leaders of Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Haryana 

After the introductions, the state leaders and the state committee members expressed their achieved activities for the past 2 years and further plan of activities in the leprosy fields

1. Support for Corona tests and vaccination
2. Sanctioned houses and construction for 400 people affected by leprosy
3. Food grains and masks and sanitisers distributed
4. One water tank constructed
5. MCR footwear was distributed to 100 people affected by leprosy

SHF team appreciated APAL and all the state leaders for their tireless efforts by providing services and support to people affected by leprosy to live with dignity in the mainstream society 

On the date of 23^rd August 2021, In collaboration with Sasakawa Inda Leprosy Foundation, the APAL state committee Madhya Pradesh distributed food grains to 177 families of people affected by leprosy and their families in

Nirmal Dham, Khandwa, Maji Colony, Awalia, Khandwa, Saraswati Leprosy Colony, Mandsaur, Gopal Mandir, Khachrod, Ujjain and Kodhighar Mugispur, Sehore.

On this distribution, Mr. Zaid Choudhary from Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation, Sachin Patidar, and Gopal Shinde from Sahyog Kusht Nivaran Sangh, Indore have contributed

On behalf of people affected by leprosy, APAL convey gratitude to Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation for their valuable services and the state committee Madhya Pradesh

On the date of 23^rd August 2021, at The request of the APAL’s state committee (SAMUTHAN) the health department of Bihar conducted the COVID-19 vaccination camp in Ghadhi Leprosy Colony at Motipur, Bihar, and 40 people affected by leprosy are vaccinated

On behalf of people affected by leprosy, APAL convey deep gratitude to the Government of Bihar and the state committee for their valuable services to the people in the leprosy colonies

On the date of 20^th August 2021, APAL conducted successfully the interaction online meeting SHF with the APAL’s state leaders of Bihar, Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh

After the introductions, the state leaders and the state committee members expressed their achieved activities for the past 2 years and further plan of activities in the leprosy fields

1. Support for Corona tests and vaccination
2. Dressing materials were distributed to 34 people affected by leprosy
3. Food grains and masks and sanitisers distributed
4. Conducted RPWD Act training

On the date of 18^th August 2021, APAL conducted successfully the Interaction Meeting SHF with the youth volunteers of the COVID-19 Awareness Program

At this meeting on behalf of APAL Mr. Venu Gopal CEO of APAL conveyed gratitude to SHF and the team of SHF Mr. Nanri, Mrs. Kiyomi, and Ms. Makiko for their support of the awareness program on COVID-19 and explained the usage of the program to people affected by leprosy and their families who reside in the leprosy colonies

After their introductions, the volunteers explained their way of work with responsibility, difficulties, and challenges in the fields and conveyed their gratitude to APAL and SHF for the opportunity to serve people affected by leprosy and their families

SHF team appreciated APAL and the youth volunteers of COVID-19 for their tireless efforts by providing health care services to people affected by leprosy and making the awareness program successful

On the date of 16^th August 2021, In collaboration with the Government of Bihar and authorities, APAL’s state committee Bihar (SAMUTHAN) distributed MCR footwear, Self-care kits, and disability certificates to people affected by leprosy from the hands of the head of the health department f the district and civil surgeon in the DLO office, Mothiari, Bihar, on the occasion of Independence day

On the date of 12^th August 2021, In collaboration with Gospel for Tribal Social Service Society-Khammam, APAL’s state committee Telangana(SLAP-TS) distributed foodgrains, Masks, and Medicine to 85 families of people affected by leprosy and their families in the Shanthi Nagar Leprosy Colony at Hyderabad, Telangana, on the presence of Mr.Vidyavathi Vijedhar Reddy Councilor of Peddambarpet

O)n behalf of people affected by leprosy APAL conveys deep gratitude to Gospel for Tribal Social Service Society and Mr. Vidyavathi Vijedhar Reddy for their valuable services to the leprosy community and their humanity with liability

Special thanks to Mr. Ramesh President of the state committee (SLAP-TS) for his active contribution to the distributions and in the leprosy field

On the date of 6^th August 2021, APAL conducted a meeting of APAL& Lepra India had discussions to draft an agreement to work in collaboration with APAL state committees of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

During these discussions, the leaders of the state committees raised requests for education support, House repairs, Toilets, Borewells at least one in each leprosy colony, etc.

At this meeting, the APAL board Mr. Narsappa President of APAL, and Mr. Prakash Board member and in Incharge of Andhra Pradesh &Telangana have participated; from the Lepra India Mrs. Radhika, Mr. Arun, and Mr. Basha have participated; from the state committees Mr. Sayil President of SLAP AP and Mr. Ramesh President of SLAP TS have participated

On the date of 3^rd August 2021, APAL successfully conducted an Interaction Meeting with the state committee Gujarat in Gandhi Leprosy Sangh, Amaravadi; Ahmadabad, the meeting was presided by Mr. Venu Gopal Vice President of APAL

In this meeting the discussion went on well on new rules of the FCRA, Future programs, Formation of the youth, RPWD Act and UDID Cards; Mr. Venu Gopal and Mr. Uday Thakar advisor of APAL explained the all details to the participants

In this meeting Mr. Venu Gopal, Mr. Uday Thakar, Mr. Narsimhulu President of the state committee, Mr. Kwaja Hussan Secretary, Mr. Vijay Kumar Joint Secretary, Mr. Vishnu, Miss. Mehrunnisha, Miss. Suman and others have participated
