On 29^th August 2022, APAL’s President Mrs. Maya Ranavare and Former President Mr. Narsappa participated in National Consultation on the 26th and 27th of August 2022 at USI, New Delhi

On behalf of persons affected by leprosy and their families, APAL is thankful to NDN and the team for including persons affected by leprosy in the meeting

On 23^rd August 2022, In collaboration with the Government of Bihar, APAL’s state committee Bihar (SAMUTHAN) conducted 2days of UDID (Unique Disability ID)cards camp at Chauradano, East Champaran, Bihar and applied for 41 persons affected by leprosy

On behalf of persons affected by leprosy and their families, APAL is thankful to the Government of Bihar and special thanks to Mr. Brij Kishore Secretary of the state committee Bihar for his contribution to the leprosy fields

On 20^th August 2022, In collaboration with Roshan Lal Jain Delhi, APAL’s state committee in Haryana distributed food grains to 30 families of persons affected by leprosy and their families at Rohtak Kusht Ashram, Haryana

On behalf of persons affected by leprosy, APAL is thankful to Roshan Lal Jain Delhi for their useful services and special thanks to Mr. Govind Swamy for his valuable contribution to the leprosy community

On 20th August 2022, APAL’s state committee Bihar (SANUTHAN) along with Ms. Mansi came from the institution of Central for Law and Policy Research Organization in Delhi and visited some colonies of Bihar, of which there are three colonies in the Purnia district. It also brought some formats with them in which they filled and there it was to say that this format will reach the Government of India, some of our leprosy colonies, and the shortcomings which are there, will be conveyed to the Government of India and they urge that the people of the colony should have their own land and their own house and water

On this visit, Mr. Ramvarai Sha Joint- Secretary of APAL Leaders of leprosy colonies and all inmates of the 3 colonies have participated

On 17^th August 2022, In collaboration with the Samrpan Leprosy Foundation, APAL’s state committee in Haryana conducted a Medical Camp at Sonepat Kusht Ashram Society Sonepat in Haryana and provided health care and ulcer care services to persons affected by leprosy and their families

At this camp, Dr. Ravi, Dr. Ashok. and Dr. Santoshi Rani contributed

On behalf of persons affected by leprosy, APAL conveys gratitude to the Samrpan Leprosy Foundation and its team. Special thanks to Mr. Govind Swamy EC Member of APAL and Mr. SN Thyagi President of the state committee Haryana for their active contribution to the leprosy fields

On 14^th August 2022, APAL’s President Mrs. Maya Ranavare visited the state committee in Karnataka; and interacted with the leaders of leprosy colonies and persons affected by leprosy and their families in Vijayapur, Karnataka

On this visit, the leaders of Sri Mahatma Gandhi Leprosy Colony, Sanjay Gandhi Leprosy Colony, Sathya Sai Leprosy Colony, Baswashwar Leprosy Colony, Kasi Viswanath Leprosy Colony, Navjeevan Leprosy Colony and Jyothi Leprosy Colony have participated and informed to Mrs. Maya their sufficient needs of people affected by leprosy and their families reside in the leprosy colonies like Land Issues, Water Problem and houses are damaged badly need renovation etc.

On 13^th August 2022, APAL’s President Mrs. Maya Ranavare participated in the 75th Independence Day Celebrations at Abhinav School, Karuna Hospital and Datta Nagar leprosy colony in Mumbai, Maharashtra

During these celebrations, she delivered her speech about the disease of leprosy and the current living conditions of persons affected by leprosy and their families living in the leprosy colonies

On 12^th August 2022, APAL’s President Mrs. Maya Ranavare along with the APAL’s state committee Maharashtra visited Datta Nagar Trombay Mumbai Leprosy Colony; interacted with persons affected by leprosy and their families and she explained the APAL’s activities

During this visit discussed Children’s Education, UDID cards, Livelihood or self-employment, the status of Social Entitlements, Ulcer Care Treatment, and the infrastructure of the colony

Mrs. Maya got a warm welcome from the women inmates, youth, and colony leaders. Mr. Rasul Mullah President of the state committee Maharashtra has participated

On11th August 2022, In collaboration with The kind-hearted man Mr. Jitu Bhai Sha, APAL’s state committee Gujarat distributed food grains to 30 persons affected by leprosy and their families at Sathya Jeevan Leprosy Colony in Ahmedabad, Gujarat

On behalf of persons affected by leprosy, APAL is thankful to Mr. Jitu Bhai Sha for his valuable support to needy people and special thanks to Mr. Kwaja Hussain Secretary of the state committee Gujarat for his contribution to the distribution and active providing services to the leprosy community

On 10^th August 2022, At the request of the APAL’s state committee in Chhattisgarh, the health department of Chhattisgarh conducted a vaccination camp at leprosy colonies in ward no. 12/13 Beldarpara Or GHOGHARNAL Champa and vaccinated 150 persons affected by leprosy and their families
