In collaboration with the Government of Andhra Pradesh, APAL’s state committee(SALP-AP) successfully conducted an Interaction Meeting

On 24th June 2022, In collaboration with the Government of Andhra Pradesh, APAL’s state committee(SALP-AP) successfully conducted an Interaction Meeting with Persons affected by leprosy(Disability) at Bethany Colony Leprosy Association, Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh, and discussed the current situation of facing troubles, Status of treatment, the status of Social Entitlements, the infrastructure of Leprosy Colony, RPWD Act, Livelihood, Education of children living under the shadow of leprosy

On this occasion, Mr. Kona Ragupathi Honourable Deputy Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Assembly and also MLA of Bapatla, Mrs. Said Mumtaj Pathan Chairman APDASAC, Mr. Prakash Working President of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Krishna Reddy, Mr. Charan Raj Volunteer of APAL, Mrs. Divya, Mr. John and all inmates of the colony have participated

On behalf of persons affected by leprosy, APAL conveys gratitude to all participants and special thanks to Mr. Prakash Done for his active gathering, monitoring, and contribution to the leprosy fields

APAL’s state committee Andhra Pradesh and the President of the committee Mr. Prakash Done met Mr. Somu Veerraju President of the BJP Andhra Pradesh

On 15th June 2022, APAL’s state committee Andhra Pradesh and the President of the committee Mr. Prakash Done met Mr. Somu Veerraju President of the BJP Andhra Pradesh at Vijayawada and explained to him the land issues of the persons affected by leprosy who reside in the leprosy colonies and RPWD Act 2016

On behalf of persons affected by leprosy, APAL is thankful to Mr. Somu Veerraju for his positive response and comfortable hospitality, and special thanks to Mr. Prakash for his active and useful contribution to the leprosy fields

In collaboration with Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation, APAL’s state committee Maharashtra along with Mrs. Maya Ranavare Secretary of APAL visited Valmiki Nagar Leprosy Colony

On 15th June 2022, In collaboration with Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation, APAL’s state committee Maharashtra along with Mrs. Maya Ranavare Secretary of APAL visited Valmiki Nagar Leprosy Colony at Nasik, Maharashtra

On this occasion, Mr. Gaurang Head of the projects SILF, and Mrs. Maya Ranavare interacted with the colony leaders and all inmates and discussed and explained the livelihood program

APAL’s state committee Andhra Pradesh (SLAP-AP) visited Bethesda leprosy colony

On 14th June 2022, APAL’s state committee Andhra Pradesh (SLAP-AP) visited the Bethesda leprosy colony at Narasapur in West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh interacted with the colony leaders and inmates of the colony

On this visit, the committee observed the technical issues of loans to persons affected by leprosy from the Government; Mr. Prakash President of the state committee immediately responded and spoke with the related authorities and got assurance from them and solved the technical issue

On behalf of persons affected by leprosy, APAL is thankful to the Government of Andhra Pradesh and related authorities for their responsibility to the leprosy community who reside in the leprosy colonies, and special thanks to Mr. Prakash, Mr. Veerraju Working President of the state committee and Mr. Charan Raju Volunteer of APAL for their contribution for the socio-economic empowerment and welfare of people affected by leprosy

In collaboration with Antodaya Leprosy Hospital, APAL state committee Jharkhand celebrated World Blood Donation Day

On 14th June 2022, In collaboration with Antodaya Leprosy Hospital, APAL state committee Jharkhand celebrated World Blood Donation Day at Bisatupur in East Singbhum and was aware of the importance and need for blood donation by rallying with flexes

On this occasion, Mr. Jawahar Ram Paswan Board Member of APAL, persons affected by leprosy, and their families with children contributed and made the program success

APAL’s state committee Jharkhand organized an employment-oriented program

On 11th June 2022, In collaboration with Courtesy of District Leprosy Prevention Office, East Singhbhum AITSIL SPV PVT. LTD, Jharkhand Skill Development Mission, APAL’s state committee Jharkhand organized an employment-oriented program (JOB ORIENTATION PROGRAMME COUNSELING) among students, women, and unemployed youth of leprosy ashrams at Gandhi Leprosy Ashram, Devnagar-Baradwari, Jamshedpur.

On this occasion, District Leprosy Consultant Dr. Rajeev Lochan Mahto, Non-Medical Assistant Mr. Binod Kumar, Mr. Jawahar Ram Paswan Board Member of APAL, AITSIL SPV PVT. LTD’s Mr. Sadhu, Ms. Jyoti, Mr. Sunil, Mr. Mamoni Mahto, Ms. Anjali Dutta, Mr. Dhan Singh, and Ms. Sheela Soren have participated
