On 9th June 2022, In collaboration with the Medical Department of Maharashtra, APAL’s state committee along with Mrs. Maya Ranavare Treasurer of APAL, and local Medical Officer Dr. Palekar visited Swadhar Nagar Leprosy Colony at Kolhapur, Maharashtra, and interacted with colony leaders and discussed the status of medical services, ulcer care services, and social protection services

On behalf of persons affected by leprosy, APAL conveys gratitude to Dr. Palekar for her responsibility to the leprosy community and special thanks to Mrs. Maya Ranavare for her active contribution to the leprosy field
