On the date of 2nd November 2021, In association with Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation, APAL’s state committee Andhra Pradesh (SLAP-AP) visited Nirikshna and Bangalow Thota Leprosy Colonies in East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, and interacted with the colony leaders, youth, and all inmates.
On this occasion, Mr. Gaurab Sen SILF and Mr. Prakash Working President of SLAP- AP and coordinator of Silf attended and discussed with the people affected by leprosy and their families about Livelihood, Education Support.
Mr. Prakash explained to SILF authorities about the current status of the people who are living in the leprosy colonies and the most need for education support for children who are under the shadow of leprosy.
