APAL started or inaugurated an Ulcer Care Unit
On 11th November 2021, APAL started or inaugurated an Ulcer Care Unit and conducted a POD program (Prevention of Disability) at Sitla Mata Kusht Colony in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh for the persons affected by leprosy and inaugurated by Dr. Shukla DLO Indore
In this program, Dr.Shukla DLO, Mrs. Meena, Ms. Priyaka Physiotherapist, Mr. Sarang APAL Member, and Mr. Parvathi Chouhan President of the state committee Madhya Pradesh have participated and explained the importance of the prevention of disabilities and great intervention of APAL

On the date of 8th November 2021, In collaboration with Social Indori Foundation, APAL’s state committee distributed clothes and sweets to 200 people affected by leprosy and their families at Sahayog Kusht Nivaran Sangh in Indore, Madhya Pradesh

In Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Prakash Working President of the APAL’s state committee (SLAP-AP) with his members visited 13 leprosy colonies
On the date of 5th November 2021, In Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Prakash Working President of the APAL’s state committee (SLAP-AP) with his members visited 13 leprosy colonies and met with people affected by leprosy and found out about the problem facing trouble by 63 Pensions stopping issue from few months
Most people affected by leprosy commonly get deformities and lose their hand fingers or even thumb by the disease of leprosy and face trouble getting social entitlements from the Government
After he approached the related Government authorities and solved the problem(Pension Stopping because of thumbprint issue) and sanctioned 37 pensions to 37 people affected by leprosy and remains will sanction very soon
