APAL and volunteer of APAL Ms. Manisha started the COVID-19 awareness program

On the date of 25th October 2021, APAL and a volunteer of APAL Ms. Manisha started the COVID-19 awareness program at Saraswati Leprosy Colony in Mansour Madhyapradesh.

The chief guests of this program were NMA Mr. Manoj Pandey NMA Mr. Pawan Dalor and AWW Sasikala Beragi Lepra Society.

APL’S state committee members Mrs. Parawati Chouhan, Mr. Rajaram Maivya Sarita Dhundhle, Mr. Gopal Shinde Colony leader Mr. Anup Kumar Malviya.

APAL started the COVID-19 awareness program

On the date of 23rd October 2021, APAL started the COVID-19 awareness program at Purniya Court LEPROSY Colony, Bihar, and was inaugurated by Dr. Sumant Kumar Suman of Leprosy dept Purniya and Dr. Dilip Kumar, Zonal Incharge WHO.

Mr. Semual of SILF and Mr. Mintu Yadav Ward Parsad etc. were presented

Mr. Bindeshwari Risidev addressed, APAL BOARD MEMBER KAMALESH CHANDRA LAL and thanked all for being good guides for Covid Awareness care and safety.

Mr. Santosh Kumar will work as Volunteer and be well guided by WHO doctor Mr. Dilip Kumar.

Ms. Lalbai Solanki Volunteer of APAL started to provide health care services

On the date 23rd of October 2021, Ms. Lalbai Solanki Volunteer of APAL started to provide health care services by health screening tests to people affected by leprosy and their families at Harsh Nager Kusht Ashram Sendhwa district, Barwani, Madhya Pradesh

People affected by leprosy and their families are mostly impacted by the COVID-19. In response to this upheaval, the Association of People Affected by Leprosy (APAL) decided to run a project in the 30 leprosy colonies of 6 states, by the volunteers who are active and well-trained youth living in the same leprosy colony. The volunteers are aware people on the precautions of COVID-19 and do the health tests by Oximeter and Temperature gun as like first aid to people affected by leprosy and their families also and refer to the near PHC.

Ms. Lalitha Patil a volunteer of APAL providing health care services

On the date of 22nd October 2021, Ms. Lalitha Patil a volunteer of APAL provided health care services by health screening tests for people affected by leprosy and their families at Lal Nagar Leprosy Colony in Maharashtra

People affected by leprosy and their families are mostly impacted by the COVID-19. APAL and as a Chief Guest head of the village Professor Mr. Budyalkar Maharashtra Khusthpidhit Sanghatana and team and inaugurated the Leprosy relevant POD Center

On the date of 20th October 2021, APAL and as a Chief Guest head of the village Professor Mr. Budyalkar Maharashtra Khusthpidhit Sanghatana and his team and inaugurated the Leprosy relevant POD Center (Prevention of Disability) for people affected by Leprosy who are facing trouble with chronicle ulcers or wounds at Antony Nagar Leprosy Colony in Pune, Maharashtra

Due to loss of sensation the People Affected by Leprosy get ulcer wounds in their hands and feet. They require daily dressing of the ulcers to prevent bone infections and amputation of legs and fingers.
