On 5th July 2022, In collaboration with Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation, APAL’s state committee in Odisha visited the After School Learning Center and conducted a meeting with the team of SILF at Rourkela Leprosy Colony in Odisha


On behalf of persons affected by leprosy(Disability), APAL is thankful to the SILF and the team for their valuable services to children living under the shadow of leprosy residing in the leprosy colonies, and special thanks to Mr. Umesh Naik President of the state committee Odisha
In collaboration with Ahmedabad Civil hospital, APAL’s state committee Gujarat distributed food grains
On 3rd July 2022, In collaboration with Ahmedabad Civil hospital, APAL’s state committee Gujarat distributed food grains to 65 persons affected by leprosy at Gandhi leprosy Sewa Sangh Amraiwadi in Ahmedabad Gujarat and sponsored by Dr. Gitanjali, Dr. Rajesh, Dr. Bhavesh.


On behalf of persons affected by leprosy, APAL conveys gratitude to Dr. Gitanjali, Dr. Rajesh, and Dr. Bhavesh for their valuable services and response to the leprosy community, and special thanks to Mr. Vijay Kumar and Ms. Mehrunnisha for their contribution to the distribution
The President of APAL Mrs. Maya Ranavare and the Formal President of APAL Mr. Narsappa visited World Health Organization
On 1st July 2022, APAL and the President of APAL Mrs. Maya Ranavare, and the Formal President of APAL Mr. Narsappa visited World Health Organization (WHO) office in Delhi; met Dr. Ranganadh Rao and discussed the collaboration to conduct a leprosy survey in India properly

On behalf of persons affected by leprosy(Disability), APAL conveys gratitude to WHO for including APAL in the survey to better understand the current situation in the leprosy fields by the censuses
An Interaction Meeting was held with representatives of Sasakawa Health Foundation, Japan
On 28th & 29th of 2022, An Interaction Meeting was held with representatives of Sasakawa Health Foundation, Japan on 28th & 29th June 2022 in Delhi and discussed the current situations of facing struggles and solutions for living with the dignity of persons affected by leprosy(Disability) living in the leprosy colonies

On 24th June 2022, In collaboration with the Government of Andhra Pradesh, APAL’s state committee(SALP-AP) successfully conducted an Interaction Meeting with Persons affected by leprosy(Disability) at Bethany Colony Leprosy Association, Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh, and discussed the current situation of facing troubles, Status of treatment, the status of Social Entitlements, the infrastructure of Leprosy Colony, RPWD Act, Livelihood, Education of children living under the shadow of leprosy

On this occasion, Mr. Kona Ragupathi Honourable Deputy Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Assembly and also MLA of Bapatla, Mrs. Said Mumtaj Pathan Chairman APDASAC, Mr. Prakash Working President of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Krishna Reddy, Mr. Charan Raj Volunteer of APAL, Mrs. Divya, Mr. John and all inmates of the colony have participated
