On the date of 2^nd February 2022, On the occasion of World Leprosy Day 2022, the theme of “United for Dignity” and “Don’t forget leprosy” APAL’s Board Member Mr. Kamlesh Chandra Lal has given awareness on the disease of leprosy and consequences of that in the Doordarshan Bihar TV channel

On behalf of persons affected by leprosy, APAL conveys gratitude to the Doordarshan Bihar TV channel and special thanks to Mr. Kamlesh Chandra Lal for his services to persons affected by leprosy and their families

On the date of 1^st February 2022, On the occasion of World Leprosy Day 2022, the theme of “United for Dignity” and “Don’t forget leprosy” APAL’s state committee collaborated with PECSS to celebrate the day and successfully conducted awareness on the disease of leprosy by conducting a quiz program to Government Girls Hostel at Sendhwa, in Madhya Pradesh and distributed prizes to the winners

On the date of 30^th January 2022, On the occasion of World Leprosy Day and Mahatma Gandhi’s death anniversary, APAL and APAL’s state committee Bihar distributed reading material to the children of Kasturba Rehabilitation Center, East Champaran, Bihar.

On the date of 30^th January 2022, On the occasion of World Leprosy Day, in collaboration with NLEP retired Para Medical Officers Association Hyderabad, Telangana, APAL’s state committee (SLAP-TS) celebrated and distributed blankets and sarees to persons affected by leprosy and their families at Shanthi Nagar Leprosy Colony in Hyderabad.

Capacity Building Workshop for youth on RPWD Act 2016 organized successfully on 28th January 2022 at Hotel Kinara Grand in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad

Organized by Network of persons with disability Organizations-India in partnership with Association of People Affected by Leprosy and supported by Sasakawa Health Foundation, Disabled People’s International, and National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP)

Facilitated by NPDO, SLAP Andhra Pradesh, and SLAP Telangana

On the date of 23^rd January 2022,  In collaboration with Gospel for tribals social service society, APAL state committee Telangana (SLAP-TS) distributed food grains,, Sarees and Shirts to 80 families of persons affected by leprosy at Moulaali Leprosy Colony in the presence of Mr. G. Prem Kumar Corporator, Mr. Umesh Singh colony chairman, Dr. N. Venkatesh, Malkajgiri PHC medical officer, and Mr. Ramesh, president SLAP Telangana.
