On 2^nd December 2022, In collaboration with Rising Star Outreach, the APAL state committee (Sahayog Kushtha Nivaran Sangh) constructed Borewell in Aaliya Maji’s Colony Leprosy Ashram in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, and the water problem of the residents got resolved.

Mr. Prakash CEO of Rising Star, Mr. Sarang Gayadhane from APAL, and Mr. Rajaram from SKNS INDORE have participated.

On 29^th November 2022, At the request of APAL’s state committee(SKNS) in Madhya Pradesh, local donor Mr. Dipak Agarval distributed water filters to 100 families of people affected by leprosy at an Indore leprosy colony in Madhya Pradesh

On 26th November 2022, APAL’s Vice President along with the state committee visited the leprosy colonies in Dhanbad, Jharkhand

On this visit, the survey (Data), the status of the social entitlements, infrastructure, and utmost needs of persons affected by leprosy and their families in the leprosy colonies. special thanks to Mr. Madhu Sudan for his contribution in the data collection

On 23^rd November 2022, APAL’s President Mrs. Maya Ranavare met Dr. Buhe District Leprosy Officer of Nasik (DLO) at her office in Nasik, Maharashtra and discussed the current situation of persons affected by leprosy and their families residing in the leprosy colonies: also, requested and explained need to work hard and work together for the empowerment of people affected by leprosy and their family members

On 18^th November 2022, APAL conducted an online EC Meeting and discussed the future activities of APAL and new projects.

On this meeting, Mrs. Maya Ranavare informed all EC members about the need to express farewell to Dr. Vivek Lal and welcome to Mr. Gaurav Sen as the CEO of SILF

On 10^th November 2022, APAL’s President Mrs Maya Ranavare met Hon. Minister for Culture, Tourism & Development of North Eastern region, Govt. of India, Shri G Kishan Reddy at ILC in Hyderabad and explained the APAL’s services to people affected by leprosy and their families residing in the leprosy colonies overall India through tireless useful activities
