APAL’s President Mrs. Maya Ranavare along with the APAL’s state committee Maharashtra visited Datta Nagar Trombay Mumbai Leprosy Colony
On 12th August 2022, APAL’s President Mrs. Maya Ranavare along with the APAL’s state committee Maharashtra visited Datta Nagar Trombay Mumbai Leprosy Colony; interacted with persons affected by leprosy and their families and she explained the APAL’s activities
During this visit discussed Children’s Education, UDID cards, Livelihood or self-employment, the status of Social Entitlements, Ulcer Care Treatment, and the infrastructure of the colony
Mrs. Maya got a warm welcome from the women inmates, youth, and colony leaders. Mr. Rasul Mullah President of the state committee Maharashtra has participated

In collaboration with The kind-hearted man Mr. Jitu Bhai Sha, APAL’s state committee Gujarat distributed food grains
On11th August 2022, In collaboration with The kind-hearted man Mr. Jitu Bhai Sha, APAL’s state committee Gujarat distributed food grains to 30 persons affected by leprosy and their families at Sathya Jeevan Leprosy Colony in Ahmedabad, Gujarat
On behalf of persons affected by leprosy, APAL is thankful to Mr. Jitu Bhai Sha for his valuable support to needy people and special thanks to Mr. Kwaja Hussain Secretary of the state committee Gujarat for his contribution to the distribution and active providing services to the leprosy community

At the request of the APAL’s state committee Chhattisgarh, the health department of Chhattisgarh conducted a vaccination camp
On 10th August 2022, At the request of the APAL’s state committee in Chhattisgarh, the health department of Chhattisgarh conducted a vaccination camp at leprosy colonies in ward no. 12/13 Beldarpara Or GHOGHARNAL Champa and vaccinated 150 persons affected by leprosy and their families

On 7th August 2022, APAL’s CEO Mr. Venu Gopal, and Mr Prakash Done, Treasurer of APAL met Mr Laxmi Narayan, Manager ( CSR ), Muthoot Co. Ltd. at his office, Hyderabad. Had discussions on Health, Education etc. programs for the welfare of persons affected by leprosy and their families residing in the leprosy colonies; Mr Narayan assured us to consider and asked us to submit the needs.

On 4th August 2022, In collaboration the kind-hearted Mr. Mohit Sharma, APAL’s state committee Madhya Pradesh (SKNS) distributed an Ulcer Care kit to persons affected by leprosy facing trouble with leprosy-related wounds or ulcers at Sai Ram Avatar Seva Samiti Babulpura Banganga and Sant Gyaneshwar Kushth Ashram Mahesh Yadav Nagar Bal Ganga, Madhya Pradesh On behalf of persons affected by leprosy, APAL is thankful to Mr. Mohit Sharma for his useful and most needful services to leprosy community and special thanks to Mr. Sarang Gayadhane General Secretary of APAL for his active contribution in the distribution

Mr. Jawahar approached and requested industrialist of the city, Mrs. Alpa Parekh and provided a new wheelchair through her hands
On 1st August 2022, APAL’s Vice President Mr. Jawahar Ram Paswan found out Mr. Jaladhar Mahato who is a person affected y leprosy and got amputated, struggled to walk at a small distance for a long time at Subhash Kusht Ashram in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand; Mr. Jawahar approached and requested industrialist of the city, Mrs. Alpa Parekh and provided a new wheelchair through her hands

On 1st August 2022, APAL’s Executive Member Mr. Govind Swamy visited Gouri Sankar Kusht Ashram Yamuna Nagar and Shri Ram Kusht Ashram in Kurukshetra, Haryana, and interacted with colony leaders and all inmates; explained the importance and measures of Unique Disability ID Cards (UDID) and railway concession facility for persons affected by leprosy with escort and also applied by filling the application in the spot
