On 22nd June 2023, APAL’s Vice President participated in The Bergen International Conference on Hansen’s Disease and the celebration of 150 years discovery of leprosy Bacillus 1874 “Leprosy is still an issue” organized by Sasakawa Leprosy Initiative and Bergen University in Bergen, Norway

He presented a poster on Awareness tools for Hansen’s Disease to Zero Discrimination and explained the importance of awareness of Hansen’s Disease particularly in remote areas or difficult-to-reach areas in India
