On 22nd June 2023, APAL’s Vice President participated in The Bergen International Conference on Hansen’s Disease and the celebration of 150 years discovery of leprosy Bacillus 1874 “Leprosy is still an issues” organized by Sasakawa Leprosy Initiative and Bergen University in Bergen, Norway
He delivered his presentation on Human Rights and Dignity and he proclaimed the actual situations of persons affected by leprosy and the accessibility status of human rights in India and for the response activities done by APAL through right-based approaches
