On April 5, 2022, APAL’s state committee Jharkhand conducted a meeting in Jamtara Mihijam leprosy colony and discussed the skills, livelihood, scholarship, and the Prime Minister’s housing scheme.
Residents attended the meeting, livelihood, scholarship, skill development, the discussion took place, along with information regarding UDID card was also given, the nodal officer of 90 Prime Minister Housing Scheme municipal bodies of all three colonies, Mr. Manish Tiwari, ward member 20 and 17 with the help of ward councillor. A Survey of all three colonies was done Nodal officer said that 1.5 acres of land have been allotted for a housing scheme on which flats for persons affected by leprosy and their families will be built.
