On 8th March 2024, APAL’s State Committee in West Bengal, in collaboration with the Government of West Bengal, has achieved a significant milestone through the construction and sanction of a new community hall in Kankar Danga colony, Barnpur, West Bengal. The initiative, inaugurated on March 6, 2024, stands as a testament to the concerted efforts aimed at fostering community development and inclusivity. The community hall is expected to serve as a hub for various social and cultural activities, enhancing the overall well-being of the residents in the area.
APAL would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to the Government of West Bengal for their unwavering support and commitment to the welfare of the leprosy community.
