On the date of 4th November 2021, APAL started the POD program at Gandhi Gram Kust Ashram Motihari, Bihar and Motihari ACMO DR Shailendra Kumar Jha inaugurated the occasion and promised in his expression to People Affected by Leprosy to take care of them.
Dr. Jha thanked Sasakawa Health Foundation for the support to APAL and very good initiative to cure Alcer of People affected by leprosy. He asked to come if feel any need, not only this he said he himself would visit again the colony as was requested by APAL CEO, Mr. Venu Gopal. Mr. Venu Gopal asked to take care on behalf of the Hospital Dr. Jha also gave footwear and some medicine.
On the occasion, many staffs of the hospital as Arvind Kumar Sharma, Nonmedical assistant, Md Zakir Hussain, head clerk, Mr. Devendra, Leprosy Officer, Mr. Rajkumar Sah, Mr. Ratenshwar Prasad, Ms. Asha Rina Devi, Ms. Malti Kumari, Sam Utthan leaders Someshwar Dube, Brajkishor Prasad, Ramvarai Sah were present and expressed views. Mr. Ravi Yadav and Ms. Sunayna Devi were given charge of the Dressing of the Motihari and Pipara colonies respectively.
