On 8th February 2023, with the support of DPI and SHF, APAL organized a Leprosy Awareness Workshop on the Rights of Persons Affected by Leprosy – which will include a social media campaign, awareness camps, and capacity building on RPwD Act 2016 at Hotel Kinara Grand, Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad in Telangana

In this workshop, Dr. John Babu SLO Telangana, Mr. Arman Ali Executive Director of NCEPEDP, Mrs. Maya Ranavare President of APAL, Mr. Pankaj Sinha Advocate Member, Core Group on Leprosy, Disabled Peoples’ International, Mr. Srinivasulu Founder of NPDO and Editor JAVAB TV, Mr. Laxami Narayana CSR Manager Muthoot Group, Mr. Narsappa Former President of APAL and APAL’s Executive Members, state coordinators and youth from 10 states have participated and made the workshop successful
