On 9th February 2023, with the support of DPI and SHF, APAL organized a Leprosy Awareness Workshop on the Rights of Persons Affected by Leprosy – which included a social media campaign, awareness camps, and capacity building on RPwD Act 2016 at Hotel Kinara Grand, Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad in Telangana

In this workshop, Mr. Pankaj Sinha explained to the participants the need for knowledge on the rights of persons affected by leprosy. He must change the way of approaches related authorities.

APAL’s President Mrs. Maya Ranavare delivered her speech about the importance of advocacy and requested that persons affected by leprosy utilize the learning points in the 2 day training workshop and implement them in their lives
