On May 24th, 2024, a significant event transpired in the Shantinagar Leprosy Colony and Santhosh Nagar Colony. The International Shirdi Sai Bhakta Seva Trust, a dedicated organization committed to supporting leprosy-affected individuals, orchestrated a benevolent distribution of school bags to 50 students from Intermediate to Degree level. This compassionate initiative was designed to nurture and bolster the educational aspirations of the students residing in these colonies.

The APAL’s state committee in Telangana (SLAP-TIS) played a pivotal role in this event, with State Coordinator Mr. Ramesh spearheading the distribution. The gesture was met with gratitude by the residents of both colonies, who conveyed their sincere appreciation to all members of the Shirdi Sai Trust. The new school bags signify not only educational support but also a beacon of hope and communal solidarity.
