On 13th March 2024, In a collaborative effort with the Government Hospital, APAL’s State Committee in Madhya Pradesh recently organized a Prevention of Disability (POD) Camp in Khanpura. This initiative aimed to address the needs of individuals affected by leprosy by providing essential care and support. One of the key components of the camp was the distribution of MCR Footwear and Dressing Materials, crucial for ulcer care and prevention of disability among leprosy patients. This effort not only alleviated immediate health concerns but also emphasized the importance of proactive measures in managing the condition.
The involvement of the Government of Madhya Pradesh and the State Committee in Madhya Pradesh played a pivotal role in the success of the camp. Their collaboration ensured that resources were efficiently allocated and that the outreach efforts reached those most in need.
