The continued delays in detecting new patients and persisting discrimination against people affected by leprosy and lack of awareness of the transmission of leprosy, the reveal of the reality and myths of the disease of leprosy, APAL conducting awareness programs in Schools and Colleges

In this awareness Program, Mrs. Maya Ranavare President of APAL,, Dr. Deepak, Resource Person, Mr. Subhash Principal of the College, and Mr. Jitendra Chouhan explained the disease of leprosy and the consequences of physical and social. Teachers Mrs. Anitha Kamble, Mr. Vaibhav Javkar, and Mr. Sanjay taught students the importance of awareness of the diseases
