On the date of 2nd November 2021, APAL started POD PROJECT in Gandhi Gram Leprosy Colony Motipur which was inaugurated by ACMO DR. SUBHASH Pd. Singh and Dr. Arun Sah.
On the occasion CEO, APAL Mr. Venu Gopal visited from Delhi. He expressed the purpose of the POD PROJECT as careful care for ulcers and by APAL. Mr. Mahmad Abdul Kadir was appointed as a Dresser who has to maintain dressing regularly and take care of ulcers.
Dr. Subhash said that Leprosy is curable and medicine is now available so previous wrong notions should not be believed and sufferers should follow the path of the mainstream of life.
Dr. Arun Sah not only offered medicine and other needful instruments to cure ulcers of People affected by Leprosy from Dr. Arun Sah Foundation but also he came forward among people affected by Leprosy to meet together to eradicate social stigma and confusion. He promised to support the needful requirements.
