On the date of 10th March 2022, In collaboration with Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation, APAL’s state committee Telangana (SLAP-TS) visited 3 leprosy colonies at Khammam District, Telangana; interacted with colony leaders, youth, and all inmates of the colony and discussed the current situations like the infrastructure of the colony, children education, self-employment and etc

On behalf of persons affected by leprosy, APAL is thankful to Mr. Shyam Coordinator Silf, and Mr. Maniyada Ramesh President of the state committee Telangana for their contribution to the empowerment of persons affected by leprosy and their families

MCR footwear distribution in the leprosy colonies

On the date of 9th March 2022, In collaboration with the Government of Telangana and the Health Department, Lepra Society and APAL’s state committee Telangana (SLAP-TS) distributed MCR (Micro Cellular Rubber) Footwear to 41 persons affected by Hansen’s Disease/ Leprosy at Shanthi Nagar Leprosy Colony, Hyderabad, Telangana

APAL’s Board Member Mr. Kamlesh Chandra Lal visited Ulcer care centre at Sri Sairam Avatar Kusht Seva Samiti, Indore, Madhya Pradesh

On the date of 7th March 2022, APAL’s Board Member Mr. Kamlesh Chandra Lal visited the Ulcer care centre at Sri Sairam Avatar Kusht Seva Samiti, Indore, Madhya Pradesh and interacted with the persons affected by leprosy who are facing trouble with leprosy related wounds and taking treatment in that centre and asked their experiences, on the ulcer care unit and got valuable positive feedback from them

Mr. Kamlesh interacted with the dresser and appreciated him for his regular services to the people and Mr. Sarang Gayadhane for the monitoring the visit

APAL’s CEO Mr. Venu Gopal visited the Ulcer care centre at Gandhi Leprosy Colony in Ahmedabad

On the date of 5th March 2022, APAL’s CEO Mr. Venu Gopal visited the Ulcer care centre at Gandhi Leprosy Colony in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and interacted with the persons affected by leprosy who are facing trouble with leprosy-related wounds and taking treatment in that centre and asked about their experiences, on the ulcer care unit and got valuable positive feedback from them

Foodgrains distribution in Gujarat

On the date of 25th February 2022, In collaboration with Shree Raj Rajeshvari Sachiya Mataa Mahila Mandal APAL’s state committee, Gujarat distributed food grains to 51 families of persons affected by Hansens’s Disease/ Leprosy at Gandhi Leprosy Colony in Ahmedabad, Gujrat.

Silf visited leprosy colonies in Jharkhand

On the date of 25th February 2022, In collaboration with Silf, APAL’s state committee Jharkhand conducted a meeting at Gandhi Kusht Ashram in Baradwari and discussed the livelihood, children’s education who lives under the shadow of the persons affected by Hanse’s Disease/ Leprosy

Government of Bihar conducted UDID (Unique Disability ID) card camps

At the request of APAL’s state committee Bihar (SAMUTHAN), the Government of Bihar conducted UDID (Unique Disability ID) card camps at Chauradano and Raxual, East Champaran, Bihar

Awareness program on the disease of leprosy at Narava in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh
