On 17th February 2023, APAL’s President Mrs. Maya Ranavare along with the APAL’s state committee Maharashtra and Maharashtra Kusht Sanghatana met the Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Pimpri Chinchwad in his office and submitted a memorandum

At this meeting, APAL requested the rehabilitation of persons affected by leprosy and their families at Niradhar Nagar Leprosy Colony because they have the deficient economic status cause of disease of leprosy, related deformity, related discrimination and lack of opportunities for employment and self-employment and live in the poor conditions

APAL is thankful to the Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Pimpri Chinchwad for his positive response and respectful hospitality, and special thanks to APAL’s state committee Maharashtra and Mr. Jitendra Chouhan Maharashtra Kusht Sanghatana for their active contribution in the matter of memorandum submission
