On 16th October 2022, APAL’s President Mrs. Maya Ranavare along with Mr. Sarang Gaydhane General Secretary of APAL and the APAL’s state committee visited Sai Ram Avatar Kusht Seva Samiti Leprosy Colony in Indore Madhya Pradesh
On this visit, she found out about the lack of ulcer care treatment for persons affected by leprosy who facing a struggle with leprosy-related wounds and arranged all materials and supported medicine, conducted a POD(Prevention of Disability) camp in the POD unit which is already established by APAL and provided health or ulcer care by SSOD (Soaking Scrubbing Oiling and Dressing) and taught them the self-care by themselves in their houses as first-aid
