On the date 28th May 2022, the APAL state committee Chhattisgarh conducted the POD (Prevention of Disabilities)Program and provided ulcer care treatment by SSOD at Ashadeep Leprosy colony in Durg, Chhattisgarh

Due to loss of sensation the People Affected by Leprosy get ulcer wounds in their hands and feet. They require daily dressing of the ulcers to prevent bone infections and amputation of legs and fingers.
