Minutes of Stakeholder meeting with SILF held on 30.3.2022 at Delhi. The meeting was transacted the following business.
Dr.Vivak Lal, chaired the session.
- Mr.Narsappa welcomes all the Executive Committee members of APAL & staff of SILF on behalf of APAL.
- Mr.Venugopal briefly explains the purpose of the meeting. He said that it is not a fault-finding mission, but it is a meeting to learn how to strengthen cooperation between SILF and APAL.
- Dr.Lal in his speech said that for perfection in the working information collection, skill development and constant contact is key areas where APAL & SILF should work together. After the self-introduction of each staff, the SILF has presented the activities which were organized on the 21st & 22nd of March 2022. Future plan for the year 2022-2023 was presented. After the presentation, members discussion on each point. It was suggested that
- Timely information about scholarships should be given to all colonies.
- Some programmes should be organized to make students more competitive so that they can appear for competitive exams.
- It was informed that colony developed fund rules are changed and contribution to that fund is reduced from 100% to 25%
- Unreached states or difficult states like Odessa, West Bengal, and Tamilnadu should be given priority in next year’s programme.
- SILF will share the list of colonies where they want to work in the year 2022-2023. APAL will approve the list and the person who will represent APAL in the programme.
- SILF will enter into an MOU, with such as recommended person and the same MOU will be countersigned by APAL.
- It was suggested by all members that APAL leadership should be involved in planning monitoring and executing the project.
Mr.Venugopal proposed the vote of thanks to the chair and the meeting was concluded.
