On 14th August 2022, APAL’s President Mrs. Maya Ranavare visited the state committee in Karnataka; and interacted with the leaders of leprosy colonies and persons affected by leprosy and their families in Vijayapur, Karnataka
On this visit, the leaders of Sri Mahatma Gandhi Leprosy Colony, Sanjay Gandhi Leprosy Colony, Sathya Sai Leprosy Colony, Baswashwar Leprosy Colony, Kasi Viswanath Leprosy Colony, Navjeevan Leprosy Colony and Jyothi Leprosy Colony have participated and informed to Mrs. Maya their sufficient needs of people affected by leprosy and their families reside in the leprosy colonies like Land Issues, Water Problem and houses are damaged badly need renovation etc.
