On 13th August 2022, APAL’s President Mrs. Maya Ranavare participated in the 75th Independence Day Celebrations at Abhinav School, Karuna Hospital and Datta Nagar leprosy colony in Mumbai, Maharashtra
During these celebrations, she delivered her speech about the disease of leprosy and the current living conditions of persons affected by leprosy and their families living in the leprosy colonies
